I am trying to build a rating bar (not a progress bar)like the one you see on the picture but I can’t find a way!!! Does anyone know how to build one that can be linked to my database so it automatically gives information about a subject in a visual way based on the numeric scale that I have created?
Hi there, @riverogonzalez.isaac… it’s hard (for me at least) to understand what the image you included is supposed to be showing. Can you give an example with actual data to make it clear what “rating bar” means and what the rating is supposed to represent?
Oh, geez. I was looking at the image as a whole and thinking it was one “rating” (whatever that might have meant), and I was confused as hell (and now it turns out I was just being an idiot… although, in my defense, a bit more context in the image would have helped). If it’s just like a star rating but in bar form, then like @firstfifteensoftware said, you might want to look for a plugin that does something similar.
You could also consider using Bubble’s progress bar plugin… and yes, I know you said it’s not a progress bar, but that plugin could be used to do something very similar to (if not pretty much exactly the same as) what you are showing in the image (if we are now interpreting it correctly as nothing more than a star rating in the form of a bar).
I have actually tried to use the progress bar but I cannot connect it to my data base. To give you an example, I have created a range for the number of hospitals in a neighborhood from 1 to 10 where 1 is the lowest and 10 the highest . I would like the progress bar to be connected to the database so that if the score was a 10 the bar would go green but I can’t seem to connect it to my database and it’s driving me crazy!
I have tried to use the star rating plugins but I don’t like the result…
I hope I have expressed myself well because it is a bit complicated to explain!
