How to create new field as an automatic calculation of other fields in a data type?

I would like a new column titled “Cumulative XP” in the image below to represent the total sum of all XP whenever the “MarkedAsComplete” field is equal to ‘Yes’ for any given ChildID.

Does anyone know how/if this can be done? Or would it best be located inside a new Data type?

You probably don’t need that. You can just Do a search for Tasks:each item’s XP:sum to get the cumulative total. If you want to do it per day, Do a search for Tasks:grouped by date:sum of XP etc
