How to delete a thing from database

hello, how can i delete text from database in a repeating group?
when i try to do so it shows in red

If you want to remove value from a field, you need to use make change to a thing, select the field, = and leave this empty

thanks for your time, that works but it only leaves the field blank inside the repeating group

it’s for a note taking app so i want the user to be able to delete it completely
