what would be a good way to structure images like this for events? Are there any plugins that you can recommend? How would you structure the DB for this purpose and also so that the order of images can be changes.

You will always have 5 images? Can be more? Can be less?
Looking to your design, what I suggest is to load the first image of your gallery inside the big holder on the left and the others, in the right, as a 4 x 4 repeating group (with pagination, if needed).

it can be anything between 1 & 5 images. Your approach is a very good start, thank you. Isn’t there any plugin that does this automatically? It feels slightly clunky to need several conditions on the RG depending on whether it’s 1,2,3,4,5 pictures…
