How to do a wave effect on the background (picture inside)

working on adapting a design on figma to bubble, and i have this sort of effect where there is a blue background that gets “cut” by a white shape in the form of a wave lets say. I have no idea how to make this in bubble, succesfully i made the blue background but i cant imagine how i could make the element of a wave with a square or how can i make it work?
any ideas?

If you have it in figma, you should be able export the shape in svg and use it as an image in bubble.
