How to Dynamically Change the Type of Markers on a Map in Bubble?

Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a project where I need to display different types of data on a single map. I have three different data types:

• Data Type A

• Data Type B

• Data Type C

I want to allow users to switch between these data types using a dropdown or buttons, and based on their selection, the map should dynamically update to display the corresponding markers.

The challenge I’m facing is that the “Type of markers” property in the map element doesn’t allow dynamic values—it only accepts a static data type. This limitation makes it difficult to switch between data types without duplicating map elements or creating unnecessary workflows.

Has anyone found a way to dynamically change the marker data type on a map in Bubble?

• Is there a workaround using custom states or advanced workflows?

• Is there a plugin that allows more flexibility with dynamic data sources for maps?
