How to edit a list based on users input

Hello!
I’m brand new to bubble and,

I’m trying to create a database list that is storing colours.

Example:
In the list there are Red, Blue, Green etc… USER1 types in input GREEN, Database checks if GREEN is available. No one has typed GREEN so green is removed from the list and added to the USER1s profile.
Now when the next person is trying to type GREEN a pop up comes and says “Oh, someone else has already got GREEN, try another colour”
and so on until the list is empty. (note I do not want the users to see the public list on what colours are left on the list)

I have had my friend trying to post about it, but we could not get any help so I thought I would post again.

Is it possible for you to guide us through with screenshots or even a video?
i think a lot can benefit from the help! :grinning:

Or maby how to create such a list from the beggning with all the colors?

My first suggestion on where to start is here:

Once new users have watched all these videos, they would usually have enough of an understanding of how Bubble works to create a list of data and then how to manipulate it.
