How to make inner progress bar non visible at start? (actual zero)

It seems that even though the value is at 0, the inner progress bar already appears at start:

Which doesn’t make sense… How do I go about making it start at actual zero px?

A workaround would be to put a condition on the progress bar for it to be hidden when the value is 0
