How to now allow users to create usernames with spaces?

Hi guys!

I have seen that people are creating usernames with spaces in between them. I do not want to allow that or else save these usernames without spaces in all small letters. Can someone guide with this?

Here I do not want them to have spaces or capitalized letters, like how usually it is with usernames.

You can do a find and replace to add a dash instead of a space. Would that work for you?

Or use the instant input replacer tool to just remove the space completely when they type.
