How to promote my new site?

Hi everyone! I have just launched my bubble startup, a website called CoreBootSale and I was wondering how I should go about marketing and gaining awareness of the site.

A little about CoreBootSale

CoreBootSale is a free classified listings website designed to help people buy and sell PCs (think of it like a specialised Gumtree). It has filters so that buyers can easily search for listings with certain components, certain amount RAM, etc. If a buyer sees a listing that they want to buy they can reveal the contact information of the seller and get in touch.

The problem that I am facing is getting users and content onto the site. Right now the site is completely empty with zero listings, and so if a buyer goes onto the site they will almost certainly leave right away. Equally, if a seller loads the site and sees no other listings, they’re also likely to leave right away as the site just looks baron.

I created a Facebook ads campaign (https://imgur.com/gallery/Y0GM2cl) to try and attract sellers to the site, however so far this has just led to quite a few Impressions but no click throughs.

So my question is, what is the best way to attract potential sellers and buyers onto my site, and how do I keep the new users if the site doesn’t feature much content.

Hi there. I will face the same issue with my site. Be open and honest on your front screen and say you are building up your site. If you can stomach it entice listers for a good free six months if you have a charge model. This is classic catch 22. Now I have not fully looked at your site other than home page so please take comments with grain of salt.
Low friction helps for the seller as well, make it super easy to list and or re list. Have an option for auto extending the listing if not sold by a date. I do see now listings are free. Offer something to the lister that encourages patience and stickiness. Maybe list now and receive prime search spot or whatever… go to offices or companies and promote there but they may have a data destruction issue. Just a few things and I understand your quandary.
