How to run a workflow on a shortcode

Hi Bubblers,

How can we extract a number value from an input text string (maybe using a shortcode or plugin), to run another workflow to input that number into another field?

Example input: Do this thing for *10 minutes

The number value of 10 to be extracted to use in another field.

Any plugins that would keep a simple input display and not a full text editor?
