How to Update payment status with Stripe webhook

Hello
How do I update a user’s subscription status as Active / Canceled when I receive a stripe webhook? I know that the webhook does not recognize the current user and therefore does not update the status of the user who is logged in. So how do I update the payment status of a user who was not last registered in the database? Thank you for your help
