I built SpeedMaster PRO to improve Bubble app performance (Free plugin)

Hi Bubblers :waving_hand:

I’m the maker of SpeedMaster PRO, a new Bubble plugin focused on improving app performance in a safe and simple way.

Why I built it:

Like many Bubble developers, I struggled with slow page loads caused by heavy images and third-party scripts. I wanted a solution that works instantly, without complex setup and without breaking Bubble’s runtime.

What SpeedMaster PRO does:

:white_check_mark: Lazy-loads images safely

:white_check_mark: Defers non-critical scripts

:white_check_mark: Adds smart preconnect hints

:white_check_mark: No fields, no configuration

:white_check_mark: Non-invasive & production-safe

The plugin is free to use, with an optional PRO upgrade for advanced optimizations and future updates.

I’d really appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or feature requests.

Thanks to the Bubble community :raising_hands:

Can you share some before/after or some more stats??

Great question :+1:

At the moment I don’t have public benchmarks or screenshots to share yet. SpeedMaster PRO is very new, and I wanted to release it early to gather real-world feedback from the community.

What I can say:

  • It targets common performance bottlenecks in Bubble apps (image loading, non-critical scripts, connection overhead)
  • It’s designed to be safe and non-invasive, so results can vary depending on the app structure and assets

I’m actively collecting before/after data from real apps, and I’ll share concrete stats as soon as I have consistent results.

If you try it on one of your apps, I’d really appreciate any feedback or numbers you’re willing to share :raising_hands:

Thanks for reporting this — really appreciate it :+1:

It looks like there’s currently a Marketplace sync issue on Bubble’s side.
The plugin page is public, but installation/search isn’t fully working yet for new accounts.

I’ve contacted the Bubble team to resolve this, and I’ll update the thread as soon as it’s fixed.
Sorry about the inconvenience, and thanks for your patience :folded_hands:

Is this really the main performance bottleneck in Bubble apps?

Quick update: thanks for the report :raising_hands:
I’ve contacted Bubble support — they confirmed a human support agent has the case now.
I’ll post an update here as soon as it’s resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience!

That’s a fair question :+1:

No, it’s not the only performance bottleneck in Bubble apps, and I wouldn’t claim that.
Bubble performance depends on many factors: database structure, queries, workflows, page complexity, etc.

SpeedMaster PRO focuses specifically on front-end delivery optimizations:

  • how images are loaded
  • when non-critical scripts are executed
  • how early connections to external resources are established

These won’t fix heavy queries or inefficient workflows, but they can reduce perceived load time and improve initial page rendering, especially on media-heavy or script-heavy pages.

It’s meant to complement good Bubble practices, not replace them.

some news here? cant see the plugin to install yet

The plugin page looks normal to me.

What appears when you click on that link?

Plugin Link

try to install it on app, the plugin doesn’t show up at plugins page on editor

It really doesn’t show up, what could it be?

Thanks everyone for confirming this — that’s really helpful

So far, what we’re seeing is:

  • The plugin page is public and loads normally
  • But the plugin does not appear in the app editor
  • Installation fails or results in an empty plugins list

This is happening across multiple accounts, so it doesn’t seem user-specific.

I’ve already escalated this to Bubble support, and they confirmed the case is now with a human support agent.
It looks like a Marketplace sync / backend propagation issue rather than a plugin configuration problem.

I’ll post an update here as soon as Bubble resolves it.
Thanks a lot for your patience and for helping verify the issue :folded_hands:
