I’ve launched my biggest 100% Bubble project!

Hey guys !

Just a quick post to share with you the project I’ve been working on for the past few months !

Nocodable

In short, it’s an online learning marketplace 100% dedicated to No-Code tools.

My goal with this project : build the largest no-code courses library

For now, the content available is mostly in French, but I’m actively searching for motivated instructors to join us (in any language) !

The launch has been pretty good. I’ve released the platform on March 15th, and here are some few figures :

From march 15th to 23rd :

  • 646 unique users
  • 12 courses sold in 9 days
  • 130€ of average income for instructors
  • Lot of feedbacks from both instructors and students

To give you a bit of context on why I launched this project :

I’ve been doing no-code with Bubble for 2 years now.

I’ve started sharing tutorials and courses in French in september, and I’ve uploaded a course on Udemy (which has been followed by more than 200 students). I’ve now unpublished the course from Udemy since I’ve launched Nocodable.

Udemy’s business model shocked me. I’ve set my course price to 120€, but Udemy sells it on an average of 10-15€ and takes a 75% commission.

So I was earning in average 4$ per course sold.

It’s racket.

Therefore, I decided to create my own platform, specifically for no-code.

The business model is thought to be fairer with instructor.

Instructors set the price of their courses.

If the sales comes from Nocodable’s marketing, you earn 50% on each sale.

If someone uses one of your creator’s code to buy your course, you earn 80%.

Simple and transparent.

@ThomasC2A really nice project and well executed. I like your UX/UI as well. Its not that easy to make impressive designs with Bubble (although I love bubble, there are other tools for this purpose). Could you give us insight into your design process? Did you use figma / external designer? Did you use template or started from scratch?

As I’m not a designer (and I’m clearly not good at this !), I’ve used a free Figma Template I’ve found on internet.

The problem is, most of them weren’t very adapted to my use case.

Therefore, I kept only the colors and few layout ideas, but not much.

For the rest of it, I’ve used inspiration from Dribble, Figma, SaasInterfaces etc…

It is indeed not that easy to create good designs on Bubble, but not impossible ! :grin:

However, for most needs, you can find free templates on Figma ! :slight_smile:
