guess you didn’t see the emoji, sorry if you take everything serious and if my post hurt your feelings😂

Didn’t hurt my feelings at all.

I’ve worked with teams on some of the most used apps in the app stores with millions of users.

Hopefully, you’ll figure out a way to get your app in one.

If you read through all the comments you’ll see others also took you seriously.

Enjoy the rest of your day. I hope it gets better for you.

but do you have an app tho? you’re in here buggin out like you hating, im just tryna build a mobile app without bubble misleading.

and they all have eyes to see an emoji, and i’m actually thinking of leaving bubble, lol see how misleading works after.

don’t try and put someone down unless you have something to show for your so called “success” instead of mentioning other “teams” wins and not yours.

Apparently, you’re new to the app world.

You can build as many mobile apps as you want on Bubble.

You’re seemingly confused about the different types of apps…and that’s ok because a lot of new people to the app world do get confused.

A web app is also considered a mobile app if it’s responsive and able to be viewed on a mobile device.

It seems you’re looking for a native app and I’ve seen nothing Bubble has said that says you can build a native app or hybrid app…yet, until their new mobile builder is released.

I believe if you do your research you will find there are those that offer a way to turn your bubble app into a native app.

You can also turn it into a PWA.

So, my best suggestion is you could maybe do some research.

Again, enjoy the rest of your day. I hope it gets better.

Hi everyone, your points are very correct. However, Bubble markets themselves to non techies. The difference between a web app and an app is not known among most people, even people who have development or engineering experience. It does say to join the waitlist, but @devlopr isn’t wrong either - it is misleading. I am absolutely confident he / she is not the only one confused.

Don’t blame the user, blame the company in charge of communicating their product effectively to their target audience.

noway you just said a web app is a mobile app viewed on a mobile device🤣 ma’am you do know you can access the “web” on a mobile device right so technically i’ll be accessing the web app not a mobile app…

i know all about wrappers but i want a native app built with no code, idk what you don’t understand or if you’re too busy with “success” you can’t read correctly😅

So instead of going around and around with you…

I quickly searched for an article that can help you understand things.

proved my point that a web app can be accessed with a mobile app through the web, doesn’t make it a mobile app because of that. lol have a great day stop joining discussions talking off topic and trying to put people down.

Bubble adverts being misleading is nothing new. It was horrendous the way they promoted bootcamps in the past and how far from reality the promotional materials were. Basically told people that with 2 hours a week for 8 weeks you’ll build an MVP.

When I discovered Bubble I was hardly a developer. I found Bubble because i was looking for a front end for Airtable. This was after a round robin with various no code front end editors.

I did my due diligence and so should any rational person who intends to invest money long term. There’s also nothing complicated. You go to the landing page, you get a waitlist.

Yes @jonah.deleseleuc you are absolutely correct also they specially mention " MOBILE APPLICATION" and “NATIVE APPS” too (refer my screenshot)
And you know what people like @senecadatabase will never admit these because they are involved in the development of bubble and charge clients, so it’s their pay check basically ànd so will always over protect bubble.

Well said.

@adamhholmes @ihsanzainal84 @senecadatabase always do, I don’t know why if you write 99 lines to point and maybe 1 line that’s incorrect they will catch it and start replying on it as if it was the main topic.
So it’s kind of a gang of people taking profits our of bubble vs a user who want to justify a prima facie fact with proof.

Shaun a non technical person from Ireland wants his business must be present in app store and play store and search in google - NO coad app builder ( here app means android and iOS) sees bubble saying Mobile application and react native.
Shaun wonders Native means apps running on mobile device cool !
Enters to see it’s in waitlist, wonders oh in search feed there it didn’t mention it’s not live yet so let’s go back and sees other apps like thunkable and flutterflow happily proceeds.
The End
2 minutes silence for due diligence :downcast_face_with_sweat:

you said it best.

That’s the point of a waitlist. I’m on plenty of waitlists. All of which are for services I know, do not exist. I move on too.

Due diligence is due diligence. One minute or one day.

Just so you know I’m just replying to see how far you’ll drag the thread.

I have no Bubble Clients and have never been paid to create a Bubble app for a client.

In the past year or so I have built 2 apps on Bubble.

One is now live as of a few weeks ago.

It is an app that allows my apartment manager to manage my apartments.

Tenants can post maintenance requests, which the property manager can easily manage. The available apartments are displayed. Prospective tenants can fill out an application online, and the manager can manage them.

I’m just finishing up the ability for the manager to create a lease online and have the tenant electronically sign it.

Next, I will be adding the ability for tenants to pay their rent online.

I wish you success in finding a platform that allows you to get your business online.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

I’m not even sure what this topic discussion is about anymore, seems like we are mixing a few things but I wanted to answer the question about bubble “misleading” people with mobile on Google.
Google Search does things without us asking. Like ranking their search results based on their organic search algorithms. A lot goes into how they rank pages.
The way you can tell we aren’t “pushing” mobile apps is by the fact that it’s not a paid search result (sponsored)

Bubble’s marketing team would have to be very naive to be pushing paid ads to users specifically looking for mobile native when it’s not even a public product yet!
