Important - Please let us choose our app version number!

I already have an app deployed in the stores and it is currently on version 1.0.8

I have spent the last few weeks rebuilding it with bubble, and I am ready to publish it.

Unfortunately, I got stopped before clicking “deploy” because I’ve noticed that bubble forces us to start with version 1.0.0, but the stores always require a version number higher than the current one.

Please @nick.carroll , let us manually input the version number we want for our app, at least on the first deployment, so bubble knows at which number to start !

There is going to be thousands of people who already have an app, they will rebuild it with bubble, and they will face the same problem.

I faced similar issues, fortunately for me, I had some failed builds which later caught up with the live version numbers. But good suggestions. @thibautranger

Well, thanks for this idea !

I created the build 1.0.0 which obviously failed

And I was then able to create a build with version 2.0.0
