Inputs in repeating group not selectable in workflows

Hello I created a repeating group with a check box with the goal to create a thing only when the checkbox is clicked when the button for the workflow is triggered.

However when I try to create the “only when” function in the make a new thing the checkbox is not showing as a selectable option. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

I believe you need to use a Reusable Element if you want a workflow to connect with each cells data type. https://youtu.be/Pncb9Ob9U2U

I figured it out. I have to use custom states in a new list to achieve what I am looking to do.
