Interface is visible to the public - privacy rules

Hi,
I need help here.
I have created a login page for my application which i thought will only allow logged in users to access my application. I realize that my application is still accessible even though the users are not logged in (signing in from the index page). Basically getting another colleague to paste of of the app’s page url on their browser allows them to get into the application.

I then went an added in the privacy rules to the database that when the user is logged in then they will be able to see the relevant fields.

After doing that, the data is now not visible, however i am still to get in my application and see the interface of it.

Is there a way for me to not let any non-logged in users to access my application?
My application is already published with an active domain.

Have you set up conditional redirects on your pages, and/or hidden everything by default and only show it conditionally to logged in Users with the relevant Roles/permissions etc.?

No i did not. Do you have an example or a YouTube link i can watch?
