Is anyone running NSFW apps on bubble?

In a recent thread it emerged that many people assume bubble doesn’t allow pornography or any kind of NSFW content on our apps. There’s no clear indication of this from the terms. Alas though the non legally binding summaries of those terms do explicitly say it.

While we wait for clarification from bubble support on that issue I thought it might be handy to do a quick show of hands. If people can pipe up and confirm that they have been hosting legal adult content on their apps with no issue, that settles the question for me

A quick read of the TOS seems to make it seem like it would be okay, but all actions point in the other direction.

I’d get an official answer by reaching out to support. Then you can build your site without the worry that the “status quo” will change.

According to their terms, no pornography is allowed at all. They don’t take kindly to explicit material. I don’t even think you could host it on your own DB and use bubble as a renderer.

If you put something “NSFW” on your DB within Bubble, they’ll automatically delete/terminate your app. Source.

support@bubble.io will be your best bet.

Yeah that’s the thread I was referencing. It doesn’t say porn is off limits in the terms it says it in the summaries. I’m sure they’ll clarify soon but honestly the lack of anyone putting their hand up rn does imply there are no NSFW bubble apps.

There are plenty, but if I had one I certainly wouldn’t be advertising it. Its by no means a large part of Bubble’s user base, but there’s not none.
