Is email MX settings affected if domain CNAME / A records not linked?

Hi Guys

I have 2 existing non bubble websites. I am preparing to delink them from wordpress and link them to sites I have created on Bubble. The email for these domain names is handled by gmail. My question is this:

In a potential interim period between removing the old cname and a record settings, and applying the new ones that point to bubble, will my domain emails (bought through gmail) go down if I make no changes to their MX records? Or will my email remain unaffected?

I hope the question is clear and sorry if it is common knowledge but I could not find a definitive answer.

The MX records should not get affected by pointing to new servers. I am assuming that your domain provider will remain the same. You will just be pointing the domain to new servers.
