Is it possible using geolocation for a user to be notified when another user is within a 1 mile radius or 1 minute away similar to what is used on apps like uber and deliveroo ?
Yes. Depends on what you mean by notify, but yes.
My app is focusing on distance between many users, so definitely possible. Just depends on how deep into it you want to go.
Thank you. Basically it’s a service based app where users of a particular service book appointments via the app and the service provider is notified when the client is say 5 minutes away or within a 1 mile radius
Well that is different. The user would have to have the app open and allow GPS. So it would be better for that to at least be a wrapped app like jasonelle or natively. But yes it can be done, just depends on how you set it up, and what the user experience is for the customer.
