I enabled the parentheses feature and I’ve decided its not for me. It seems to just add parentheses at random, and it appears I don’t any control over it.
When I enabled it, it said it would create a restore point and if I remember correctly, this is because it updates all your expressions to include parentheses. Here’s the restore point it created:
You should keep it. Parenthesis is an important feature even if you don’t add them yourself. You just need to learn how to use them by selecting the correct “more” option.
If you really don’t like the parenthesis then just turn them off (it shouldn’t break anything).
But I’d highly suggest you do NOT turn them off - working without them makes many things either impossible or, at the very least, significantly more difficult.
Although Bubble adds the parentheses automatically, you have 100% full control over where they go once you understand how they work.
Although it does take a bit of getting use to, it’s well worth the time as it will make thing a LOT easier in the long run,
(I honestly can’t image building anything on Bubble without this feature enabled).
