Isometric Tile Selection

Hi! I’m working on an isometric tile selection for a game-like environment. Practicing a little to see the extend of Bubble’s out-of-the-box abilities. I tried few things and the most convenient so far is the repeating group (two repeating groups 1 row 4 columns).

However, the actual rectangle containing the isometric tile, once combined, cover the layer above or below and thus prevent proper correlation of click-to-tile.

Have you guys ever tried something like that? Can you think of some work arounds or better approaches?
