# Issue with Stripe API - Retrieve subscription

Hi everyone,

I will be very thankful if someone could help me out with this:

I’m using a Stripe API and have a subscription functionality for the users. I have set it all up already a while ago and when I was doing some testing today so I could deploy the website to live, I got an error that the call for Retrieve subscription is not working anymore. Could someone tell me what is the issue here? Here a screenie:

I would presume what happened is that particular subscription\_id you used in the initalzitaion process, you must have either cancelled the subsciption or the subscription plan ended, so yes the subscription data no longer

You would to run the api call : “create a subscription” and use the new value of the subscription\_id in the retrieve subscription’s api call

thank you! I have deleted my test user so thats why the ID that I was using was lost 😅
