I've build a Bubble app that resizes images in bulk!

Hey!

I’ve just launched the beta version of my new Bubble app: SizeMatters.app :sparkles:

What is Size Matters?
Size matters is made to help you save time getting your images in the right size and format. Google and other search engines will love you for it.

It’s a flexible and easy-to-use bulk image resizer. It can resize your images to any specific dimension and crop them proportionately if necessary.

It’s an online tool and you don’t need to download or install it on your computer. Size Matters works well on all devices and screen sizes.

Why I build Size Matters
During building my online magazine Founder.nl I struggled a lot with the time it took me to get the images right for the blog posts. I needed to have them as small as possible but of good quality so I had to resize them manually. After asking around more people had this problem but not a good solution. Since my day-to-day job is building Bubble apps I came to the conclusion to build Size Matters, to help me and others save time.

Would love to hear what you think of my new app

Slick UI! Love it

Nice clean design Eddy, congrats with the beta launch.

I sometimes use https://imagecompressor.com to compress images because of the potential impact on the speed of a site. That would be a nice addition to your app.

Great idea for an app! Some observations/feedback:

  1. It’s unclear that a user must sign up and validate prior to use…and no warnings/alerts if you don’t.
  2. Neither Firefox nor Edge will accept the cert of the validation link. Evidently it’s only valid for Sendgrid.
  3. HSTS prevents me from getting to the site as a validated user.
  4. Maybe the site is clobbered with traffic and/or workload?

Others have used the service so maybe I’m an outlier? Good luck!

Thanks a lot!

Looks nice yes and simple to use. The nice thing with Size Matters is that it compresses the images as well as resizing them to the right size

It’s really really beta so didn’t add a lot of info about the product yet

Hey,

  1. What would be a better way?
  2. Do You mean the confirmation email after creating an account?
  3. Not sure what you mean

Thanks a lot bob!

  1. Present a login/signup dialog up front if user is not logged in.
  2. Yes
  3. That was FYI. It will go away when #2 is fixed (i.e., fix the cert)!

Rock on!

Alright thanks man

love it!
