Lawn Mowing Comparison Site

Hi, Ive been slowly working on a gardener comparison site, however right now only focused on the ‘Lawn Mowing’ aspect. This site offers users the ability to book their lawn mow online with a final quoted price and the ability to pay using paypal.

The ‘Quoted Price’ is worked out using a little algorithm that I built.

How does it works?

  1. Users enter their address
  2. Select their services
  3. details about their yard
  4. Users select from a list of gardeners with previous customer reviews and the quoted price
  5. Customers book the job

Please give the site a go, I want flaws to be picked up and things i can improve on.
Thanks for your time.

Looks great, @dylan.b.anderson, and the user experience around getting a quote is really nice (in my opinion, at least)… congrats!

If you are open to sharing some information, I am curious as to how you went about getting your partnerships with the gardeners. Was it difficult to get them to partner with you? Oh, and Kick Some Grass is the best name ever for a gardening company.

Best…
Mike

Appreciate it Mike,
I’ve been facebooking the landscapers, it’s a hard sell but the smaller businesses do seem rather interested.

Getting them to use my backend which features the bookings, invoice system and messages is a tough sell. I’m not sure if I need to have a one on one with the businesses or simplify it a lot more.

But thanks again for checking it out.

Looks good Dylan, well done.

Here in the UK, us Brits love our gardens and green spaces (albeit our seasons do dictate how often we can maintain them). Thus a lot of local traction does happen on FB. Especial for older and less mobile. Touching on your comment above, friction could be an issue. I see a lot of FB posts just wanting a simple garden skim but I could be wrong. Nothing ventured, nothing gained… have you thought about targeting local councils or local business (the meat of society) whom see FB as a second rate service.

Wow, that’s great. I’m also working on the same niche, and currently, my site was in a good state.
If you need any help, let me know.

Hey mate, cheers. Where are you located?
