Hi, I’m a beginner and am quietly going mad with a problem that seems like it should be fairly trivial, but I can’t move past it!!

I have a Data Type - Company, with a field called Employees which has been set as a List of Users.

I have a workflow which creates the company and is supposed to add the Current User to the list of Employees - the command is Employees add Current User.

However, what it does is populate the list with the company name and not the employee’s email address.

When I look at the App Data with the intention of manually adding the Current User to the Employee list field in the record (in a case where there is no value in the Employee list), it has a system set placeholder titled “Type a User’s Company”. Any ideas where this comes from, how to fix this?? (I have also deleted the field, reset it as descried above and get the same result).

Many thanks.
Alan

If you click ‘Primary fields’ in the app data tab, check what you have the User type set to. It’s probably set to their company and the company primary field set to their name which means it _displays_ the user’s company name rather than their ID or email.
