# Location not saving

Hi all,

for some reason when users enter their location in the platform, it doesn’t save. I didn’t change anything but it used to work and would offer location recommendations when the user is filling out the location input but now it doesn’t do that either. I’m wondering if it’s an error with how I set up my Google Maps API

Are you using a searchbox? There are known bugs with that input.

I just had the same issue. I’m not sure I’ve fixed it for good, but there was an error on my billing account on the Google Cloud Console, now that it’s fixed the field seems to work better.

Also if access to your app is password protected, Google’s API seems to have trouble resolving requests. My Development app is protected and the field doesn’t work over there, it works on the Live version however.
