Login with Instagram

Hey everyone,

I am having some issues using Instagram as a Signup/Login Method. I have registered an app with my FB Developer account, added the “Instagram Basic Display” Product and have inserted the App ID and Secret ID into the according fields in the plugins tab of my bubble application (Bubble’s instagram plugin). As the OAuth Redirect URI I’m just using my app’s signup page, but I have also tried using https://myappname.bubbleapps.io/api/1.1/oauth_redirect

When initiating the signup/login action I always get the error 400: Invalid Scope. Please see the attached screenshot:

Was anyone recently able to implement the login/signup with Instagram? I would appreciate any form of help, suggestions etc.

Seems like you didn’t approve yourself as a test user. The plugin is working fine for me.

just curious what your solution is for this problem? I tried to use both Instagram plugin from bubble and Instagram Basic plugin from Taiheta.

For the bubble instagram plugin, i got the “error_message”: “Invalid scope: []”,

For the Taiheta Instagram Basic plugin i got the same thing if I dont use the test user. If I used test user, I can only get the Id not even the user’s email and username. Eventually, the login needs to open to everyone, so how the plugin might work?

how to approve myself as test user, it is difficult to implement Instagram instructions in bubble no coding environment. Can you please record an illustration video?
