Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a skilled Bubble developer to help build out the backend workflows and business logic for a web app that connects two types of users through a booking and availability system.
The frontend UI and database are already well underway. I now need support implementing the logic that powers the booking flow—including status transitions, availability validation, and calendar-based interactions.
I’m looking for someone who’s not just a task-taker, but a self-motivated problem solver. You should be comfortable thinking through edge cases, helping define logic that hasn’t been fully mapped yet, and proposing smart, scalable solutions as we build.
What You’ll Help With:
- Creating workflows that allow one user to submit booking requests to another user based on a shared calendar.
- Implementing logic to manage different booking statuses (e.g., pending, confirmed, declined).
- Setting up a system that handles multiple overlapping requests for the same dates in a prioritized queue.
- Adding date-level metadata like notes and availability toggles.
- Enforcing rules for availability, blocked dates, and manual/automated accept/decline flows.
- Collaborating on scalable data structures for real-world usage (e.g., high volume calendar operations, edge cases like time conflicts).
Ideal Skill Set:
- Strong understanding of Bubble’s backend workflows and data structure capabilities.
- Experience building multi-user systems with dynamic permissions and conditional logic.
- Ability to think through complex UX/state transitions and translate them into clean, reusable logic.
- Familiarity with availability calendars or scheduling workflows is a big plus.
- Comfortable collaborating with a non-technical founder.
This is a paid engagement with potential for follow-up work if it’s a good fit.
If interested, please DM me with:
- A few examples of Bubble apps or logic-heavy features you’ve built.
- Your typical hourly rate.
- Any availability over the next few weeks.
Thanks!
