the error is saying that you are attempting to use the plugin with a parameter set to type Event (I suppose a custom data type called ‘Event’) and that the value you send is not evaluating to an Event entry.
If that is not the case it maybe that it is not initialized or on the page at all (ie: not on the DOM, not the actual page in bubble editor)…I’m not 100% sure as I have not used that plugin for a few years now.
Thanks a lot for your response! I am still struggling to find a solution .. i will get there ! Patience is the key hahah
Hi @marietemp386 , I can take a quick look at the editor if you like. Sometimes its us missing something, sometimes its the plugin. But yeah, patience will get you there sooner or later.
As an alternative, i know that orchestra is free and pretty great, but i would highly recommend exploring RepeatingGroup Tools ( bdk ) Plugin | Bubble as well. It has saved me considerable time and effort in similar situations without a bug.
I have explored this for fetching data from inside RGs, i am assuming that’s what you are using orchestra for.
Hi Maindola, thank you very much for your response. I am trying RG extractor at the moment ..have you ever try this one?
Hi @marietemp386 I disagree with the concept of ‘Bubble tutors/mentors.’ If you want to become a great developer its really important to learn the skill of unblocking yourself. A mentor makes it much easier to arrive at a solution which is not good for your development as a Bubble dev. Often … in fact, almost always when you have a block there is some piece of information that you don’t know and/or don’t know about. So understanding what you doing at a much deeper level is far more important than successfully and perhaps accidentally building out required functionality in the long term.
My advise would be to forget about a Bubble mentor, go through Airdevs bootcamp (free) a couple of times if necessary and learn to unblock yourself by learning everything there is to learn about Bubble and the 3rd party integrations necessary for your application.
Side note (unrelated to post): always try and keep your editor clean with consistent naming and religiously use the canvas placeholder. It makes your dev experience far more enjoyable and debugging more efficient in the long run.
Finally, I’ve often seen beginner devs use plugins when they really don’t need to … so make sure you actually need the plugin for the required functionality before you enthusiastically pay for one .
That’s interesting, i don’t disagree. It’s been 3 days that i have been stuck.. i am still hoping to find answer .. it’s not by the lack of trying …
