Hello everyone,
This might not be bubble specific, but this is a community in which I feel I can get quality help from.
I am wanting to send emails from bubble using my custom domain. I have noted peoples issues with SendGrid and have set up an account with Loops. My question is whether I need a google workspace subscription (or another service) to send emails with an address like admin@notifications.myapp.com. I use squarespace for my domain and they offer email forwarding, so receiving emails to a custom address is taken care of. Now does loops alone let me send from my custom domain?
Best case scenario I can put off paying for google workspace a bit longer as to keep the costs of my project low.
Thank you!

Hey Richard! As far as I’m aware, you can send emails from any from ID as long as the domain has been configured properly. Of course, if the ID does not exist, it would be better to add a reply-to as well so that the people you are sending the email to can reach out to you via the right email. For none of this, you would need to pay for Google Workspace.
Additional note - If you want a custom inbox and its features but don’t wish to shell out money for it, you can also try Zoho (gives you 5 free email IDs from what I remember)
Let me know if this makes sense
