Macbook / Windows computer vs iPad

Hi there fellow non-coders,

My app is working great, but now I encountered some strange behaviour.
This is how my screen looks like on my Macbook Air in Safari:

And this is the similar screen but then on Safari on my iPad Air 2019 (also on other iPads):

What is going on here? The dropdown buttons supposed to be black…

Certain browsers and devices will override the styling on the built-in drop-down elements. You can use explicit CSS to take control, or build your own dropdown
