Major bug! NO Buttons or actions work. About to lose a client over this

I’m about to lose a client, and worse, a really valuable person who refers clients to me, because of this bug.

This is something that all of the test users are reporting from both Android and iOS, however, it works perfectly for me on desktop, Android, and iOS. Unbelievable.

All of the actions connection to buttons don’t work. So no matter what users click, nothing happens in the app. This also goes for the tab bar items.

Really no point in submitting a bug report for this since I can’t reproduce it or even explain what’s happening at all.

I have seen a lot of glitchyness around buttons, but only on an occasional basis. I’ve found that states fail pretty consistently, and using “Go to view” fails unless resetting the stack. Also animations fail.

I’m desperate to get this working so if anyone has any ideas for what other things can possibly cause actions to fail let me know, I’m at guess-and-check point right now.

If anyone thinks they can help me with this I’d be happy to pay you for your time, please let me know.

There’s gotta be some way to reproduce this behavior, otherwise the team is totally blind trying to help here.

Can you think of any way to trace this?

Haven’t used mobile much but is it only working when you’re logged in with a Bubble session @brenton.strine (e.g on web, if you try and use debug mode but aren’t logged in to the editor, it fails - could be a similar thing here?). Just throwing out ideas.

Interesting… I am signed into Bubble on my phone…

I also have Bubble Go installed, I wonder if that’s causing interference…

Here’s a video from the client. They create an account and then nothing works.

Nothing happens in the last part of the video because the client is clicking everywhere and nothing is happening…

And there is nothing in front of everything that is blocking the clicks?

Idk how mobile works but do you have floating groups there?

Nothing in front that I can see. Certainly not on my phone…

I also noticed it on my app.. I can’t really explain how and why but it’s as if I do once and current user is logged in they weren’t really working 100% on the mobile screen.. I had the same problem for mine and I looked for an alternative.. give it a try, try to remove this workflow or Anyway don’t use do ounces and I’m sure the problem will be solved!

I’ll give you an idea on the fly. Try using a custom yes/no state to tell when the user is logged in. We bet that’s how it works? Maybe someone from the bubble can give us a more technical explanation, but I repeat I also had this problem on my app and as far as it seems everything is correctly set up, so it won’t work..

Or try to move to everytime instead of just once.. I hadn’t tried this on my app.. thinking about it’s a very quick test..

Thanks for the heads up!! I knew someone from the community would be aware of a problem area.

I’ll redo it without using the Do When action and see if that helps.

EDIT: Client reported that fixed it for about half their users.
EDIT2: Nick said a fix for this went out. Haven’t gotten confirmation from my client on if it fixed for everyone yet.

Try also with the other suggestion.. it’s faster.. I edited the comment. Let me know how it goes!
