šŸ—ŗ Mapbox Maps - Total revamp of one of the most popular Bubble plugins from Zeroqode

The issue is only visible on the wrapped app with natively but the issue seems to be only related to the check if geofence from the mapbox plugin.

It is generating the error from time to time but the error I showed you.

My other question is regarding the location permission popup (the web popup not the native one), if a user select no - how can I prompt it again?

Thanks a lot

Hello! I see you can make a heatmap on mapbox studio and then use that heatmap via the plugin, but there is no way to actually edit the data for the heatmap via bubble is there?

In other words, the only way you can change a heatmap is by manually uploading data to mapbox studio?

If I should be using this action,

do you have any tips or instructions for getting bubble data (coordinates in my case) into the ā€œsource dataā€ ? Can you use a mapbox dataset?

Hello @haddad.anthony26,

Thank you for reaching out.

We understand from your message that the issue occurs only on the wrapped app. Please note that our plugin is designed primarily for web apps, and we cannot ensure full functionality on third-party wrapped apps, as each is different and may contain code that interferes with the plugins.

For this issue, you can consider contacting their support directly, as they can investigate potential conflicts on their end.

Regarding your second question about the location prompt: This pop-up is generated by the browser itself when an application requests location access. It behaves the same across all web apps. If you initially chose not to share your location, you can reset this permission in your browser settings (image).

Hope this information will prove helpful.

Best regards,

Hello @teamprogresscomplete,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To use the heatmap, you must have a prepared JSON with the data for the ā€œSource dataā€ field, you can find here an example. While Mapbox Studio greatly facilitates the creation of heatmaps, you also have the option to use JSON directly from your app data.

Additionally, you can access numerous resources on using and managing heatmaps in the Mapbox docs. There, you will find more detailed information on how they function and tips for managing them effectively.

Thank you for your understanding. If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything, please let us know.

Wish you a great week ahead!

Zeroqode Support Team

Great! Would you mind sharing how I could use JSON directly from my app data as a source for this plugin?

Thanks! Yes I have no problem creating a heatmap in mapbox studio, just with the plugin.

Hello @teamprogresscomplete.

Thank you for your message.

Weā€™ve reviewed your request and the Source Data field in more detail. It appears that this field can indeed accept only file types, and text cannot be used directly there. For example, you could save your JSON file in a database field of type file, and then link it in the Data Source (img). Hereā€™s a link to a test page where you can see an example: zeroqode-demo-08 | Bubble Editor

Thanks again, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback.

Hello there,

Hope Bubblers are doing great ! Just need a hand on that one. How can you remove the direction pannel without removing the drawing elements.

The action workflow ā€œToggle Controls Visibility a MapBox Mapā€ is hiding everything. Is it in the Bubble side or in the Mapbox side ?

Thanks a lot in advance !

Hello @ceabiven ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Regarding your question, it is indeed possible to hide the panel you mentioned. Simply uncheck the ā€œEnable UI Map Inputsā€ checkbox in the elementā€™s settings [image]. This will remove the direction panel without removing the drawing tools.

Could you please try this and let us know if it resolves your query? If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you, and we look forward to your reply.

Thanks @ZeroqodeSupport , I went to deep into the questions and dig to much while it was just at the beginning.

Thanks again and good work on that plugin !

Hi @ZeroqodeSupport

Since version 1.130.0,
if you use Create line or polygon to draw once with MultiPolygon,
and then use Remove line or polygon to delete what you drew,
an error will occur if you use Create line or polygon again with the same SourceID.

Can you please investigate this?

Hello @nonono ,

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your observations.

After testing the things you mentioned, we have also managed to reproduce the error on our end. It appears that this issue occurs exclusively when you use MultiPolygon, as you pointed out. We have forwarded this matter to our development team for further investigation and resolution. We will keep you updated as soon as we receive any information from them.

If you have any other questions or inquiries in the meantime, please feel free to let us know.

Thank you once again, and have a wonderful weekend ahead!

Hello @nonono ,

Hope this message finds you well.

Weā€™re excited to announce the release of version ā€œ1.137.0ā€ for the Mapbox Maps plugin. This update addresses the issue you highlighted and introduces several enhancements to the Geofencing functionality. Notably, you can now add a geofence around a draggable marker, and weā€™ve included a new action, ā€œRemove geofenceā€, for greater flexibility.

Could you please update the plugin in your app, test the plugin, and let us know how everything is working for you? If you have any further questions or suggestions, weā€™d love to hear them.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Looking forward to your feedback.

@ZeroqodeSupport
I have confirmed that the problem of removing line or polygon has been solved.
When I draw the MultiPolygon again, it works without any problems.

Thank you very much.

Hi @ZeroqodeSupport team!
Just wondering if you had any plans to integrate the new 3D features as part of the plugin?

Thanks for the amazing work!
Victor!

Hello @vnihoul77 ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

In the Mapbox plugin, the 3D features are readily available. You can enable them using the actions ā€œTurn 3D Building Onā€ and ā€œAdd 3D Terrainā€. The first action will add 3D buildings, and the second will introduce topographic terrain to your map.

You can also explore these features on our Demo page:

Could you please test these actions in your app and let me know if they are what you were searching for, and if they are working as you expect?

Thank you once again, and we look forward to your feedback.

Hello @ZeroqodeSupport

Iā€™m in a bit of a pinch so please help me

Changed from mapbox 1.119.0 (before the change, it was Draw Polygon)
The Line tool has been added to the Draw function
I want to get the coordinates of the drawn Line
I got the Line coordinates value from the Line updated event, but it was empty

Hello @nonono ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Based on your message, we understand that youā€™ve been trying to use the Draw functionality, specifically with the line tool. Is that correct?

Weā€™ve conducted further testing and also noticed that the state wonā€™t show up when it is a line. Our development team is currently investigating the cause and will work on a resolution. Weā€™ll keep you updated on any progress.

If you have any other questions or concerns in the meantime, please feel free to let me know.

Thank you again, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
