I have a menu that I want to reuse across all pages because I have buttons, links on it and so on. Obviously, whenever there is something I have to change on that menu (add or remove) I would have to make those changes on every single page.
Surely there is a better way to have it as a template and then once I edit the template, it changes everywhere?
What you’re referring to is known as a Reusable Element (abbreviated as “RE” sometimes here in the forums). You can right click on a group and choose “Convert to Reusable Element”
This will now be available in your list of Reusable elements, in their own area of the Pages dropdown. To use them on the page, they’ll also appear in the Elements on the left side of the Design view.
Thanks mate.
Two questions:
Do i have to add the menu on every single page then? I guess so?
2. What happens if I change something in the reusable element? Will all menus change on all pages automatically? That’s what I need.
