Merge two fields to filter RG

Hi Bubbler’s

Would love any help on my below issue.

Basic setup:
Option Set: Job Locations (I have 6 city options available)
Data Type: Candidate
- field: current residency (Job Location)
- field: relocation options (List of Job Location)

I am stuck and for the life of me cannot figure out a suitable solution that is not a jumbled hacky mess. I have a filter system containing a Dropdown with “Job Location” options for choices, I then have a RG that I would like to filter “Candidates” who have that Dropdown selection in either their “current residency” field OR “relocation options” field. RG is set to Candidates and I have Do a Search ready to go but not sure how to filter against/combine both fields. I was trying to filter using “Merged With” but cannot get it right.

I wish the documentation on the “Advanced” search operator wasn’t so sparse. I have been able to use it to do precisely that sort of “OR” filtering. In the search popup this magic little operator appears at the very bottom of the “select a constraint field” drop down.

Hey @aaronsheldon, I really appreciate it. I’ll take a look at the “Advanced” filtering option and see if I can figure it out!
