I’ve seen countless posts on the issues with smoothly directing users after an OTA & a rebuild is performed for Bubble apps. One obvious problem is the issue everyone is experiencing with having to refresh the app 2-3 times before the newest version pushed via OTA is implemented into the app - this in itself is very scary and I hope it get fixed ASAP.
The second issue is the “Can update via refresh” conditional parameter being brocken. Below I have a condition to send the user to my app_refresh page which is for when they need to just refresh the app. It does not do this and seems to be brocken.
The OTA delays is a hug issue. I’ve been experiencing delay at least 3 hours and up. Opening and closing the app multiple times doesn’t work. Not even an option to refresh the page.
It’s getting really really annoying for my users. My login screen is my landing screen, so basically when my users are on an outdated version they aren’t automatically logged in which makes them think they’ve been logged out automatically. They then go to sign in to just get “Please update the app” screen popup. OTA’s need to be instantaneous, especially if the app is starting from scratch. Can we ask if the whole OTA refresh/update will get a makeover soon @nick.carroll ??? It’s driving my users insane.
