Both. Goals are:

• Increased scalability and reliability for the main cluster: we’d like to split it into multiple shared clusters instead of a single one
• Improved security
• The ability to host apps in multiple geographies without requiring users to upgrade to Dedicated hosting

Any ETA when this will be available?
Choosing an own AWS region would be helpful. World is changing pretty fast and most of my clients wants to store their data close by. It’s a bottleneck at the moment.

Really like you are prioritizing the UI. Here’s a bit of feedback and improvement suggestions to the frontpage amongst other things. Would love to do a second round overhaul myself as a UX nerd but hope your team can use it

PERSONAL: Small annoying UI bugs

[image] Inconsistency: The light blue color used through out is really horrible and kind of 90ies “web safe”, the darker color introduced with the new frontend UI is much better. Consider replacing the old. Thumbs up for the improved frontend Bubble! [image] Inconsistency: Rounding differs on elements. 5px is more crisp and suggested over 10 or more. [image] Bubble is now so big is sad calling it a “Product” when the “APP Builder” is widely used internally and externally as I understand …

Any word on the backend bulk data changes being upgraded?

Would love to know when the regional servers are going to be implemented and if there are expected speed gains to be had if for instance I’m in Australia on an Australian server

Having my app on a server in my region would increase the likelihood of me upgrading to a higher plan significantly. Why upgrade capacity if the region issue is having over your app in the first place. That is at least true in my case.

We are working on our new components system to improve how easy and fast it is to build beautiful apps on Bubble. We are mostly done with the initial development, and aim to enter internal testing and QA in the next two weeks.

So this something thats going to be something that is similar to reuseable elements? just updated? (with new ways to pass state or something similar, with option for nested components? or am i on completely wrong track)

Can’t wait for this in Australia! This will be a game changer for supporting new clients. With the US$/AUD$ exchange rate the current solution tops out at over 5K per month Australian
