Multi colum Custom state

I want the user to select a row on selection open a popup
Accept 4 values save the values to a custom state of type list.

User to edit the values and based on edit keep updating custome state which is like temp container for values to be saved to a database on final submit

Use case

User selects a invoice item
Which having quantity

Popup allows the user to enter 4 fields towards the selected row
