I’m running into a persistent problem and I can’t seem to figure out the cause, despite my research in the documentation and on tutorial videos. I’m hoping someone here can help me shed some light on the issue.
The problem:
I’ve set up a workflow for users to upload multiple photos. When I use the live version of my app, the upload seems to work: I see the file names, and they are successfully saved in my File Manager under the Data tab. However, the photo preview doesn’t display on my gallery page, and the photos aren’t saved in my Photo data type.
What I’ve already checked:
- The workflow: My workflow for multi-file upload is configured to use the Multi-File Uploader.
- The database: I have a Photo data type with a photo_file field of type file. I also have a Gallery data type with a photos field of type list of Photos.
- The link: In my backend workflow, the photo is correctly linked to the right gallery.
- The Repeating Group: The Repeating Group on my gallery page is properly configured to display the page’s content, and the photos field is correctly referenced.
- The image code: The Image element has a dynamic source that references the photo_file of the current Photo object.
Everything worked perfectly with the default single File Uploader. The problem appeared only after I installed and configured the Multi-File Uploader.
Could this be a data type issue or a compatibility problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
