Multilingual Project- Remote Intermediate Developer needed

Hello, I have a small agency and am looking to bring in someone for a big fintech project in a few weeks. I also have other clients needing assistance with development/design. We are a fun IT team located in the Western Balkans region! We have been around since 2020 and would love to mentor you to become a senior developer. Must have experience with multilingual projects, Clickup, and Slack. You MUST have experience with APIs (OpenAI, Facebook, Twitter), it would be an EXTRA PLUS if you have a talent for UX/UI design but is not necessary for this role. I am not looking for a junior but an intermediate developer with at least 1 year experience building live projects. Ideally, this person is located in the Western Balkans region or similar time zone (GMT+1). We offer between $8-15/h depending on experience and promise to offer yearly bonuses, flexibility, mentorship, and a pleasant working environment (hard to find these days unfortunately). An intermediate developer with extensive experience, at $8-$15/hour, even in the Western Balkans? Yikes!

Even though I’m sure that’s more than the minimum wage in those countries, my advice as an agency owner is that you’ll never find the best applicants at that rate, because they’ll all just be freelancing or employed remotely for a bare minimum of $30/hr.

Yup this rate is double or triple what most people make in the Western Balkans. And because me and most of my team live here it’s a bit different than being in the US and trying to hire overseas. I’ve hired enough freelancers at $30-50/hr to know that money doesn’t bring quality talent.

Paying $30-$50/hour definitely doesn’t guarantee good talent, but paying $8/hour more or less guarantees that it won’t be good talent
