I’ve been working with app development on Bubble for a while now. In my opinion, one of the most important aspects of creating a great app is the user experience.
Recently, I’ve been developing apps for different countries, each with specific needs. One of the most challenging and time-consuming aspects is dealing with multiple languages.
Most of the time, I need to develop apps with multilingual support. However, let’s be honest: Bubble’s solution for this is terrible. It’s not practical at all.
So, I came up with a simple suggestion for what an ideal experience for managing texts in different languages could look like. You can see the idea illustrated in the image below.
Basically, when you select a text element, there would be an option to choose the language in the properties window, with the default language already set, and the possibility to create specific texts for each language.
Unfortunately, I don’t know how to get this idea to the Bubble development team, nor if it would be possible to implement. But I believe it would be a great feature. What do you think?
