MVC Design Pattern using Bubble

Our startup is seriously considering Bubble as the tool to build our web site. We want the site to follow the Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern. Basically, we want the UI (browser) to present the view to and interact with the user, the web server to do all of the heavy lifting with respect to business logic and making calls to the database server. The database server to be the data repository.

Can you explain how Bubble supports MVC? What technologies does Bubble in order to do this?

How does Bubble implement security? For example, in a production environment, we expect the web server to be in a DMZ exposed to the internet, but the database server to be behind a firewall and not accessible except to the web server.
