My Experience Trying 3 Convert-to-Native Approaches and Endorsement for BDK

Hi Bubble Community,

My team recently converted our standard bubble web app into a native app; after trying multiple options, we ultimately decided to use @gaurav’s BDK service and it was a huge success!

I wanted to take a moment to tell you about our experience for others out there that are considering the various options in the ecosystem to convert to a native app in order to get into the app store.

We originally tried the Jasonelle path, but 1) weren’t able to get past some technical hurdles and 2) we really like the rich features that BDK offered that we weren’t sure we’d be able to get with Jasonelle.

Next, we tried Nate’s Codeless Academy. Nate had some really cool features related to GPS in the background that we were really excited about for our app. Nate was extremely responsive and friendly with all of our communications, but we ultimately hit a technical hurdle with our app redirecting after signin that was causing blank pages to appear that we couldn’t get past.

Next, we tried Gaurav’s BDK service. Several times in the process, we hit roadblocks in setting up the app, but each time the problem was mostly on me misunderstanding the documentation. Each time, Gaurav patiently and promptly explained the problem. The level of customer service and support was truly impressive. At one point, Gaurav even helped us with some problematic whitespace that was appearing in our app (we think due to some custom animation) from his past experience and helped us write custom code in order to get rid of it.

Needless to say, Gaurav went above and beyond to make the process smooth and easy for us. For that reason, I strongly endorse his service for any bubblers out there looking to convert their apps from web to native!

If you have any questions about our experience, I’d be happy to answer!
