Need help with SendGrid!

Hey there!

Here is the very simple thing I wanted to do:

  • Use SendGrid to have nice fancy emails
  • Require user’s to verify email address

Not to bad right? Things I have done so far:

  • Connected my SendGrid API Key :white_check_mark:
  • Put the Template ID I wanted to use :white_check_mark:
  • On the register action, clicked “Send confirmation email” :white_check_mark:

Now, the confirmation email looks like this in SendGrid:

I read in a few post’s I’ve seen to use <%body%> and <%subject%> for it to work properly with SendGrid.

Here is where my frustration lies. I get the email, and this is what it is:

This is probably a stupid simple fix, and a very easy oversight on my end, but for the life of me I can’t figure it out. Could one of you awesome people please help me?

Sorry for the late reply… I just now happened to stumble across this thread and see you asked. Your notification must’ve been ignored. Sorry! Did you figure it out?

If not, my solution was the fact that I simply was not creating a legacy template. For new accounts, getting to the legacy templates was pretty hard to do.

If you need help or explanation still, let me know! Again, sorry for the very delayed response.
