Need Pricing Feedback for Australian Remote Jobs site

Hey friends
Zeroqode with one of our friends in Australia just launched the first Remote Jobs board for Australians. We are experimenting with the “pay-what-you-want” pricing and would like your feedback about that.

  • Did you try that in your projects?
  • Did it work or not?
  • What do you think about it as a user?

I would be very curious about this strategy. I have thought about doing something similar with a game I created. I even thought about doing that with my eLearning Hub but I was too chicken to do it since it takes a lot of my time. :blush:

Also interested to know if this approach works.

I know one small restaurant that do pay-what-you-want, and the psychology behind it is “people normally would pay more than they should when they are offered to pay whatever”. People are ashamed to pay less at the cashier.

but in digital world? :thinking:

Re pay-what-you-want-restaurant: from my observation, it went well … until Pandemic happened :neutral_face:

I’m not sure whether they made profit, but my friends and i never tried to pay less than we should.
