No this wouldn’t consume WU as its just a static value.

Yes, we do plan to expand this to link and button elements!

Awesome, thanks

Nice one! I always had to deal with mile-long expressions on my canvas…

Will filling these inputs with data and media have any affect on the live app’s performance?

The fix is now live!

No this will not have any affect on performance on the live app. This placeholder is a static value (which means there isn’t any evaluation that needs to be done) and will only be visible on the editor, not in the live app.

I’m loving this feature so far! Any plans to roll this out to other elements, such as text inputs, dropdowns, links, etc?

Just noticed this today, Thank you Thank you Thank, a Much cleaner UI and helps with visualization. This will definitely reduce the amount of time needed to preview the app. Hopefully, one-day previewing will be altogether integrated and won’t ever be needed.

GREATNESS!!! I am not sure if my “idea” was the catalyst but regardless, this is a much needed update. Thank you!
This can be closed: Create Placeholder for dynamic strings (I could not see a way to close it).

Is possible to have this also in buttons or inputs?

I think I am misunderstanding what this feature is for? Could you describe a use case for the above so it clicks for me?

It just makes thing look cleaner in the editor, and more closely represents the actual page.

Ah I see, thankyou for clarifying mate.

Hi @sravani, just noticed my collaborators (and girlfriend) have it on their editor, but not mine.
Even though I’m on the last version of Bubble.

Do you know why it could not being activated properly?

Feature request: add placeholder to button elements.
