[New Feature] Mobile/web workload usage filter

Hi everyone!

We’ve added a new toggle that lets you filter workload usage metrics for projects that have both a web and mobile app.

What’s changing

Before this update, users who had both a mobile and web app in the same project were unable to view workload usage by app — they could only see them for both apps combined. Now when you visit the logs tab for your project, you’ll be able to toggle between web and app in the app metrics subtab.

Behavior

  • This toggle (see image below) is available on projects that have both a web and mobile app on the main cluster only. The ability to filter Dedicated capacity charts by web and mobile is coming soon
  • When Web & Mobile is selected, all workload used by the apps in the project will be displayed in the charts
  • When Web is selected, only workload used by your web app and any backend workflows will be shown
  • When Mobile is selected, only workload used by your mobile app directly will be shown

Whats coming next

We’ll be following up this release with the following related features:

  • Ability to toggle Server Logs by platform
  • Workload Runs chart will show Web & Mobile, Web, Mobile differentiation
  • Ability to use the toggle on Dedicated apps

This all should help you better debug issues in your apps and understand how much workload each app is using.

Thanks for building your native mobile apps on Bubble!

The addition of the mobile/web toggle is appreciated, but that’s not the only change that has been made it seems.
Previously, clicking on a bar in the hourly chart updated the detailed breakdown below while keeping the full hour visible — allowing for quick comparison across minutes. Now, clicking a bar takes me to a separate zoomed-in single minute view. To go back, I have to manually re-select the hour again. There is zero value in seeing a huge single-minute chart, it is really not needed - in fact it makes debugging WU incredibly tedious and unnecessarily difficult.

Please revert this behavior or at least provide a toggle to keep users in the hourly context when clicking a bar. WU tracking is critical for cost transparency and optimization.

Let me dig in - the intention was not to change any of the existing functionality

It doesn’t work for me.. I see both different colored bars, I see the toggle but if I press it it doesn’t do anything..

Are you sure you are clicking the toggle and not the legend on the chart?

Ok yes, now the toggle has appeared on the top, before it wasn’t there.. it was the legend..
