New Feature: Push Notifications 🚀

ITS FINALLY HERE

We are excited to announce that Push Notification support is live! You can now send push notifications to users using the new Send push notification workflow action (as well as the accompanying Request push notification permissions workflow action).

You can find more details on how to set up and implement Push Notifications on your app in the docs and in this (not so) quick walkthrough video. We integrate natively with Apple’s Push Notification service and Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging so once you have the appropriate keys, you should be off to the races, no 3rd party needed!

Phenomenal! Thanks @nick.carroll

This is amazing news :rocket:

Hey @nick.carroll, please 0.96WU per 1 notification is final?

@petr, I believe the workload calculation for push notifications is pretty much the same as any server-sided action

I’m PUMPED!

@nick.carroll have there been any reports of builds failing after adding the APNs Key and ID? That’s the only thing I’ve changed recently and all my builds are failing. I forwarded it on to support just wondering if I’m all alone over here.

I don’t have FCM key in there yet. Could potentially be why it’s failing if both are required for the build to be successful?

Not that I’m aware of… what is your app name?

TardySweep. Sounds like the support team has forwarded it over to the mobile team to take a look at.
